Detailed Position Summary/Function: The Division of Education, Human Development, and Social Sciences at Penn State Altoona is establishing a temporary faculty teaching pool in nursing. Basic Details: Applications for temporary vacancies in the Spring 2018 semester schedule are being accepted and will remain current until the first day of the Spring 2018 semester. Applications on-hand will be used to fill vacancies in the Spring 2018 class schedule as needed. Required Qualifications: A Master’s degree is required. Candidate should demonstrate teaching excellence in areas of competence. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with diverse student populations preferred. Special Instructions to Applicants: Applicants are to attach a cover letter, curriculum vitae, unofficial transcripts (official transcripts required before appointment), and contact information for three professional references. Final selection will be based on excellence in scholastic achievement, a review of the candidate`s curriculum vitae, and a successful interview.
