Penn State has an exciting opportunity to work clinically one day a week and work four days a week has a Clinical Coordinator with Penn State Physician Assistant Program. In this position the Clinical Coordinator’s role is supporting the physician assistant students during their clinical education. This support consists of attaining and maintaining clinical sites, visiting students and preceptors during their clinical rotation, and planning for the call back day activities which occur at the end of each of the nine clinical rotations. The clinical coordinator would also oversee the placement of students on their clinical rotations and is the contact for students and preceptors as the need arises. Communication and organizational skills are key skills for the performance of this role. Position will require travel to the clinical sites for assessment of the sites, preceptors, and students. Minimum qualifications: Graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant Program or baccalaureate or higher degree program that meets licensure requirements in the State of Pennsylvania required. National Certification in Pennsylvania or in another State with reciprocity and licensure to practice in Pennsylvania required. Relevant experience preferred.
