The College of Engineering is seeking a part-time, Industry Relations Intern to help support the college’s objective of increasing industry engagement. The Intern will play a key role in the College’s industry outreach initiatives to develop and expand partnerships. Reporting to the Director of Industry, Innovation and Development, this intern will help execute several industry outreach events, assist in developing content for a quarterly newsletter, help coordinate campus visits by industry, analyze data as per guidance provided, identify key contacts at companies of interest to the College through internal databases. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated interest in working with multiple teams, able to analyze data, be a quick learner, be highly organized and able to handle multiple projects. This position is intended for a student at the University Park campus, and should be able to commit 20 hours per week to position responsibilities. Specific work hours are determined by the college but will comply with a student’s schedule. Based on a review of the performance, the position may be extended for Fall 2018. Skill requirements: Undergraduate students pursuing a major in Communications, Administration or related degree preferred. Proficiency working with Excel and databases is required.
