The College of Education is seeking a conscientious, detail-oriented individual with a commitment to teamwork to join the Research Administration Team as a Proposal and Award Generalist 2. Our office provides research administration support, including pre- and post-award activity, to our faculty. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: advising on Penn State and funding agency policies and procedures and resolving problems; establishing and maintaining research budgets; preparing financial reports and documents for budget reviews and providing projection/cost estimates, and modifying existing budgets; editing the funded research web page for our office; organizing and maintaining proposal and awards files; and checking Office of Sponsored Programs website weekly for proposal and award activity. The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, and strong interpersonal communication skills needed to interact with candidates applying for funding.
