The Online Giving Coordinator is responsible for supporting the effective use of online resources for individual and group donors in order to maximize the use of these tools to support the work of Four Diamonds to raise funds to improve and transform health at Penn State Children’s Hospital. Specifically, the Online Giving Coordinator will: Manage the creation and maintenance of hundreds of online giving pages to empower community partners and Mini-THON schools to fundraise for Four Diamonds. Provide ongoing training, coaching and technical support on the effective use of online giving tools to individual and group donors in order to maximize fundraising results. Develop and conduct individual and group training to maximize the use and effectiveness of online giving tools, and develop online giving resource guides. Create reports and analyze online giving trends and donor data to provide actionable insight to the rest of the development team. Manage the vendor relationship with a digital storefront company to manage inventory content, oversee inventory levels, recommend new items for inventory inclusion, and define parameters for group donors’ use of the storefront. Work collaboratively with the Volunteer Coordinator to create a seamless online user experience for donors and volunteers. Manage constituent data, including reports and downloads to ensure proper crediting to donors. Manage email subscriber lists and distribute mass email communications. Manage the relationship with online giving tool vendor, keeping abreast of updates, and ensuring the highest level of data security. Support the activities of the Four Diamonds Advisory Board in annual full-board meetings as needed. Professionally represent Four Diamonds within the community and within the diverse constituents of Four Diamonds (families, students, donors, faculty, and volunteers) to ensure that information about the program is effectively articulated in an appropriate manner. Provide support for development office activities, particularly as they relate to raising funds in support of pediatric care and research. Proven track record in the strategic use of web-based applications. Exceptional customer service skills. Strong organizational skills required; excellent interpersonal skills; ability to manage time well, prioritize workload and pay attention to detail; ability to teach and share information to audiences of varying ages and technical ability; must effectively communicate in both written and verbal form; and must work with individuals at a variety of levels within and outside the organization. Must be reliable, resourceful, energetic and a team player. The successful candidate must possess exemplary interpersonal skills and demonstrate a genuine appreciation in working with diverse audiences. Computer skills are required, and knowledge of Google Analytics, HTML formatting, and Microsoft Office, and online fundraising software is strongly preferred. This job will be filled as a level 2, or level 3, depending upon the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a level 2. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of re-funding.
