Description

Provide principle administrative support to the Senior Director, HUB-Robeson Center, Student Affairs Facilities, and Staff Development. Plan, organize, and coordinate daily office activities and workload. Meet regularly with Senior Director. Coordinate and maintain the Senior Director's calendar. Serve as a liaison between the Senior Director's office and the members of the various staffs housed in the HUB-Robeson Center, University officials, students, and community members. Prepare reports, proofread documents, prepare confidential correspondence and emails; provide and exchange information. Maintain and update databases, records, and files. Arrange travel and process travel documents and purchasing card transactions and various other documents in IBIS for the Senior Director. Plan and coordinate meetings, special events, menus, catering, and prepare meeting materials. Plan staff development opportunities for staff assistants in the HUB-Robeson Center. Serve as a Notary Public as supported by the department. Prepare agendas, attend and take minutes at all HUB-Robeson Center Advisory Board meetings, Student Affairs Green Team meetings, and others. Represent the department on various committees and serve as the parking pass co-coordinator for Student Affairs. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication (both written and oral) skills. Typically requires a High School diploma or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional specialized training beyond the high school level or completion of formal high school vocational program or equivalent, and work-related experience preferred.
