Description

Penn State Abington’s Science and Engineering Division seeks math and statistics instructors (non-tenure track) for part-time appointment to begin August 2017. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate math courses at the introductory through intermediate undergraduate level. The ideal candidate should be open to offering flexibility in course scheduling and methods of course delivery. Applicants who will have completed a Ph.D. in math, statistics, math education, or a related field at the start of the appointment are preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated excellence in teaching math and statistics at the college level. The review process will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. Applicants should submit an electronic dossier (no paper submissions please) including: a cover letter; a curriculum vitae; a list of courses taught at the college level; and a list of 3-4 references. Penn State Abington is a four-year undergraduate college of Penn State University located two blocks from Route 611 in Abington, Pennsylvania, and 10 miles north of Center City Philadelphia.
