Administrative Support Assistant (Administrative Assistant to Student Affairs)

This position provides administrative and receptionist support for the Office of Student Affairs in functions such as student conduct, student engagement, career services, health services, counseling, and athletics, etc. The position will provide support in relation to calendar management, budget tracking, preparing deposits, updating and creating manuals and brochures, creating flyers, updating and managing websites, managing files and requirements for TRA students collecting money and managing club and organization budgets. In addition, responsibilities include typing correspondence and reports, processing various forms using the business management and financial systems, scheduling meetings and making room reservations. At times event planning, committee meetings and programming may be required as well as other duties as assigned. This job will be filled as a level 2, or level 3, depending upon the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience. Typically requires a High School diploma or higher plus one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a level 2. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs. Excellent computer skills are expected, including Word and Excel. Candidates must possess exemplary interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), customer service skills. Must be student-centered with a strong commitment to diversity. Must be organized and have attention to detail and exhibit a high level of professionalism. This candidate must be able to work with minimal supervision and maintain confidentiality.
