Description

Penn State Altoona a member of the NCAA Division III and Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference is seeking a part-time Athletic Trainer. The Athletic Trainer provides competition coverage and pregame preparation needs of the student-athletes; provide rehabilitation to injured student-athletes; and participate in annual professional development. Requires a Bachelor`s degree or higher (Master`s degree preferred) plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Registrations or licensures: BOC Certified Athletic Trainer; PA State Licensed Athletic Training; Certified Health Care Provider (CPR/AED) The successful candidates will have the required education; must be alert for injury or safety issues as they occur; communicate in a professional manner; be able to provide leadership to the coaches to assist them with the proper care of their student-athletes. This is a temporary and an as needed position.
