Educational Affairs within the Penn State College of Medicine seeks an “Assistant Director for the Office of Medical Education”. This position works collaboratively with medical education leadership to oversee curricular support for all phases of medical school curriculum. The Assistant Director will supervise the curriculum operations team and serve as the liaison/unit contact for processes and procedures in their administrative offices. Prepare presentations, proposals, and reports on highly complex medical education issues. This position will function as an expert in medical education administration while collaborating with curricular, evaluation, assessment, student affairs and student admissions units to effectively operationalize processes for programming needs. We value candidates who are forward-thinking, open-minded and flexible, have excellent communication, planning, organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills; have the ability to adjust quickly to change and come up with practical ideas for problem-solving; deal effectively with all levels of management in a team environment, while possessing strong interpersonal skills. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus eight years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
