Description

As the Assistant Director of Admission, this position will assist the Director of Admission with the implementation and management of all processes necessary to meet campus goals for enrollment. Assistant Director Duties will include: supervision of two admissions counselors, managing the international student admission process on campus, providing leadership/support to international students after matriculation, running and analyzing admissions reports for the Director, assisting in the planning/execution of the campus visit experience, assisting in the innovation/planning/management of communication campaigns for prospective students and co-advising the Lion Ambassador group. The position will be given recruitment assignments for travel and managing the applicant pool throughout the enrollment cycle. Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and organizational skills with the ability to manage concurrent projects is critical. Computer experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Prezi is necessary, experience with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System is preferred. Overnight travel in state and out of state, and evening/weekend work are required. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Master’s preferred with related experience. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as part of your job duties. A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from the date of hire with excellent possibility of re-funding.
