Description

The Penn State Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering seeks a part-time Instructor to teach BE/BRS 391 (2 credits) during the Spring 2018 semester. Qualifications include M.S., MBA, or Ph.D. in business, communications, or related area. Experience related to teaching technical writing, presentations, critical thinking, resume development, marketing ideas in corporate settings, and closely related topics is required. Preference will be given to candidates with prior undergraduate teaching experience in a related field. To be considered for this position, submit a resume including professional and teaching experience. Application review begins immediately and will continue until a suitable candidate is identified. This course is offered through the College of Engineering’s Biological Engineering major and the College of Agricultural Sciences’ BioRenewable Systems major. It is a junior level course required for all BE and BRS major students. This is a two section, 2-credit course offered for the Spring 2018 semester. Expected enrollments are between 60-70 junior students.
