The Department of Agricultural Economics, Sociology, and Education (AESE), College of Agricultural Sciences, seeks applicants for the Administrative Support Assistant position. The responsibilities of this position are to work with the Coordinator of Undergraduate Student Services, the Undergraduate Program Coordinators, and the AESE department advisers to provide assistance to students in AESE undergraduate programs. Serve as the first line resource to students for questions and inquiries; assist with the graduation verification process and with processing student forms and petitions. Serve as the primary resource for the course offerings process, including room, instructor, and exam scheduling. Provide staff support to the AESE Undergraduate Student Center. Provide event support for student clubs and organizations; schedule meeting rooms for special projects and events. Maintain listservs and distribute information to students, faculty, and staff. Compile information from a variety of systems to complete required reports. Serve on committees as assigned. Experience with LionPATH, iTwo, and Starfish preferred. Demonstrated commitment to inclusionary practices that support diversity across the College and the University. Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills and attention to detail are essential. Typically requires a High School diploma or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
