Description

The laboratory of Dr. Joseph Reese in the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department is seeking an outstanding scientist to fill an Assistant Research Professor position investigating the regulation of RNA polymerase II by cellular signals. The position requires experience in protein purification, reconstitution biochemistry and approaches to study transcription factor binding to genes in cells. Experience studying RNA polymerases, DNA damage responses and using yeast as a model system is desirable. A PhD in a relevant field is required. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with possibility of re-funding.
