The Smeal College of Business is seeking an Honor and Integrity Director. The Director will play a significant leadership role in continuing to develop and implement the Smeal College`s honor and integrity efforts. Key responsibilities will include marketing and communication of honor and integrity initiatives, training and orientation, policy execution and implementation. The Honor and Integrity Director will act as spokesperson for Smeal to the broader Penn State community and beyond. The Director will work with others to develop and implement programs designed to communicate the importance of honor and integrity in the Smeal culture and community, and develop mechanisms for sustaining commitment to program goals over time. The director will facilitate a culture that promotes and sustains high levels of honor and integrity. Reporting to the Senior Associate Dean for Research and Faculty, the successful candidate will demonstrate a sincere commitment to honor and integrity, supported by prior knowledge and experience. The position requires the ability to lead a team of colleagues of varying organizational levels and roles to give input and execute initiatives. Successful multi-stakeholder communication is a key characteristic. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated project and team management and execution skills, including both delegated and self-initiated projects. Typically requires a Master’s degree or higher with 3 or more years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A Ph.D. is preferred. Strong oral and written communication skills are required, including the ability to explain delicate material and influence positive behavior. Innovative marketing communication skills are an asset. Teaching experience and advising experience at the undergraduate level would be preferred. This position has the possibility to be configured as a half-time position or a full-time position with additional teaching or other responsibilities and duties.
