The Bennett Pierce Prevention Research Center in the College of Health and Human Development seeks applicants for data entry positions to work on the Family Life Project. These part-time positions will work with medical records files to extract key information for data entry. The candidate should be available to work in a secure data entry space on the Penn State campus. The work schedule can be flexible with daytime and evening hours. Training will be provided, and all data entry personnel will need to be certified with data security clearance and HIPAA training before beginning duties. Experience with data entry and/or familiarity with medical records is preferred. The successful candidates must demonstrate the ability to work computers, be detail-oriented, careful and organized so as to follow research procedures exactly, as well as being flexible to handle different types of data formats available in medical records. This is a part-time position for an average of 20-30 hours per week.
