Excellent opportunity exists for an exceptional, highly motivated Physician with interest in delivery of primary care to young adults in a university health care setting. The successful candidate will join a team providing quality acute and chronic medical care, preventive care, and health promotion in a dynamic, AAAHC accredited facility. Services provided will include both primary care and mental health services for Penn State students at the University Park campus. This job will be filled as a level 3, or level 4, depending upon the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience. Typically requires a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree or higher plus five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a level 3. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs. Licensure or eligibility for licensure to practice medicine in Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is required. Board Certification in a primary care specialty required. Ability to use an electronic health record is required. This is a fixed-term position funded one year with an excellent possibility of re-funding. This is an 83.3% full-time equivalency (FTE) job. The schedule will be Monday through Friday, mid-July through mid-May. Full Penn State benefits included.
