Description

The Woskob Family Gallery and Borland Project Space seek a part-time Programming Assistant beginning December 15, 2017 through July 1, 2018. Responsibilities will include exhibition installation and de-installation; event staffing, including opening receptions and other special events; administrative tasks, including liaising with artists and arts institutions, completing loan forms, and securing insurance for artwork; and other administrative, practical, and hands-on tasks attendant to the daily operations of two busy exhibition spaces with active slates of public programs and display. The ideal candidate has familiarity with hand tools; excellent written and verbal communication skills; the ability to work as part of a team; and great attention to detail. Familiarity with the Adobe Suite is a plus. 20 hours/week, plus occasional availability for evening events (generally once per week, on a Tuesday or Thursday evening), are required.
