The successful candidate will develop strong collaborations with other faculty members to advance excellence in research and teaching. The department has over 20 tenure-line faculty members engaged in a wide range of research and teaching activities, providing a fertile environment for collaboration and professional growth and attracting outstanding undergraduate and graduate students. Applicants require a Ph.D. in atmospheric science or a closely related discipline. Further information on the department can be found at http://www.met.psu.edu. Inquiries about the position may be directed to Professor Yvette Richardson (firstname.lastname@example.org). Applications should be submitted online and include a cover letter, statements of research and teaching interests, a curriculum vitae, and the names and addresses of four references. Applications from women and under-represented groups are strongly encouraged.
