Assist the Associate Head for Undergraduate Programs with implementing the academic program accreditation to include the following: understanding ABET criteria and accreditation requirements, including travel to national workshops and symposia; gather, summarize and interpret data from various sources; prepare assessment reports to summarize activities performed throughout the year. Plan Undergraduate Programs special events such as new student orientation and awards banquet. Management and administration of departmental scholarships. Serve as lead office support. Coordinate meetings, compose correspondence, letters, reports and memos. Obtain and analyze data from Penn State databases to explore trends and solve problems. Prepare course and curriculum changes. Coordinate course offerings, teaching schedule and classroom assignments. Resolve scheduling and classroom problems. Project enrollments, course sections, plan and implement registration activities. Recommend changes to course offerings and schedules based on trends and projections. Coordinate textbook orders. Coordinate the evening and final exam schedules. Ensure University and College deadlines are met for UG Program. Typically requires an Associate's degree or higher plus five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite required; experience with Data Warehouse/iTwo, IBIS, and LionPath preferred. Knowledge of statistical analysis and/or educational program assessment desired.
