Penn State Schuylkill is accepting applications for an Education Program Associate. This position will serve as the Program Manager for the LionLaunch program, which includes overseeing the LionLaunch Business Boot camp, Business Plan Competition, LionLaunch Innovation Hub and assisting the Development department with raising funds to support the program. This position will also be responsible for developing, selling, and administering a wide variety of education and training programs to include professional development and customized training primarily for the working adult audience. This job will be filled as a level 1, or level 2, depending upon the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a level 1. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs. This position requires company sales calls and creating proposals that meet an organization’s workforce development needs. Requires excellent customer service, written and oral communication, computer skills, project/time management skills, self-management and will also require an individual with a creative, entrepreneurial spirit. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of re-funding. This is a 75% full-time equivalency (FTE) job. Will work 30 hours per week, year-round. Full Penn State benefits included.
