Description

This position reports directly to the Supervisor of Custodial Programs. The successful candidate will possess skills in two distinct areas – Training and Supervision. As the trainer for Custodial Services, duties will include developing, updating and implementing the training program for all of custodial, which includes over 400 employees. A strong background in training program development and administration is preferred. As the trainer, experience in presenting to large groups of 100+ is also preferred. The successful candidate should have extensive experience and proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, as well as internet based training programs. As part of the training portion, evaluating new products, attending seminars, and assisting in employee evaluations is also included. The supervision arm of this position includes hiring, supervising, and evaluating assigned staff of equipment repair technicians and laundry position. A strong background in supervision, including supervision of employees not be working the same hours, is preferred. Other duties include, but are not limited to, maintaining the Quality Assurance Program (QA), building inspections, record keeping, custodial inventory program, and audits. Attending annual tradeshows and seminars are required, and they do include some travel. The CPC will work with vendors, and stay informed about trends in the industry, as well as communicate the highlights of our custodial program internally and externally. Experience and/or background in Safety, Sustainability and Efficiency initiatives are preferred. Current IICRC certification in SMT, CCT, and HFT are preferred. If certification is not current, it is required within two years of hire. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
