Description

The College of Nursing is seeking a registered nurse to act as an interventionist on a function-focused care study conducted in assisted living facilities in the Philadelphia area and surrounding suburbs. Primary responsibilities include: assisting in study recruitment; leading stakeholder meetings to develop an action plan; conducting a policy and environment assessment; providing FFC training to champions and staff along with post-test evaluations; providing education to residents and residents’ families; mentoring champions through collaborative assessment, care planning and motivation of staff; conducting observations of FFC-related staff behaviors; facilitating facility-wide motivational activity including feedback loops and incentive activity; and, submitting study documentation. Must be Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Pennsylvania. Successful candidate will be skilled in evidence-based care; with long-term care experience preferred, and will have excellent communication skills at the individual and group level. Training provided.
