Description

Responsible to the Chief Pharmacist for manufacturing, compounding and dispensing medicines; assist in maintenance and submission of required records. Counsel patients as to a medication`s proper use, potential side effects, interactions, etc. Will provide direction to pharmacy technicians, maintain records and inventory as required ensuring compliance with laws, policies and procedures. Requires Bachelor`s degree or equivalent in Pharmacy, plus three months of work-related experience. 2400 hours internship and successful completion of the State Pharmacy Board Examination required. Experience with QS-1 software highly desirable. The successful candidate will be able to provide friendly, appropriate counseling to a diverse patient population while using sound professional judgment.
