Description

The Department of Supply Chain and Information Systems at the Smeal College of Business invites qualified applications for a non-tenure track faculty position in the area of Supply Chain Management. The position would begin in Fall 2018 at the clinical assistant professor level. Salary is competitive. Candidates must have a doctorate degree (granted or near completion) in supply chain management or related field and a strong commitment to teaching excellence at the undergraduate and master’s degree levels. Particularly desirable are candidates with a record of high-quality instruction in a student-centered environment, an enthusiasm for collaborative learning environments, and an interest in educational technologies and online pedagogy. The Smeal College of Business offers a collegial working environment and excellent campus facilities. The Department of Supply Chain and Information Systems, one of the largest in Smeal, comprises a vibrant faculty with research and teaching interests that run the gamut from strategic procurement to logistics and distribution, from manufacturing and services strategy to retail operations, from sustainable supply chains to behavioral operations management, from health care management to decision analytics.
