Penn State Abington invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Marketing to begin January 2018. Primary responsibilities include: an active scholarly research agenda in the marketing discipline; a commitment to teach a variety of undergraduate courses in marketing delivered face to face, hybrid and online with a standard load of 3 courses per semester; academic advising to business majors; and, service to the college, university and profession. Successful candidate must hold a Ph.D. in Marketing from an AACSB-accredited program. Area of specialization in consumer psychology and marketing strategy preferred. The position requires that candidates demonstrate scholarship with a record of conference presentations and at least one peer-reviewed journal article in press. Three years of college-level teaching experience in marketing courses and industry experience is desired. Penn State Abington offers a B.S. in Business with an Option in management/marketing, among other options. The Business major is currently housed within the Division of Social Sciences and is a highly enrolled major in the College.
