The Pennsylvania State University – Abington College invites applications for a tenure-track position in Political Science at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning in August 2018. Candidates from a range of areas of expertise will be considered but those with specialization in public policy or political economy with a focus on urban politics, inequality and diversity will be given preference. All candidates should be able to teach courses in American government. The successful candidate will have a central role in the development of interdisciplinary programs that include Political Science and demonstrate a commitment to interdisciplinary teaching and research. The course load is a 3x3 and experience teaching undergraduates is highly desirable. Candidates with a Ph.D. in Political Science or Public Policy by August 2018 will be considered.
