Penn State Altoona invites applications for Fall 2018 for a full-time instructor position in Information Sciences and Technology. The position will support coursework in several majors, including Computer Science, Information Sciences and Technology, Cybersecurity, and Security and Risk Analysis. The successful candidate may teach courses in introductory IT, information security, cybersecurity, decision theory, programming, databases, networking, risk assessment and risk management. Applicants should present a record of effectiveness in teaching and have a strong commitment to undergraduate education. A Master`s degree in an information technology-related field is required. Applicants should submit a letter of application establishing their qualifications, a current CV, a description of teaching philosophy, evidence of teaching effectiveness, and three letters of reference.
