Description

The Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications is seeking public relations students to work on a special partnership with the National Elder Law Foundation (https://www.nelf.org/). Students will be working over the semester with NELF staff to improve the organization`s visibility among attorneys and the general public. Duties could include writing news releases, drafting strategies for digital content and improving the NELF`s database of members who could be a resource to the media. The NELF is the only national certifying program for elder law and special needs attorneys with a membership of nearly 500 Certified Elder Law Attorneys. Students will be expected to attend regular meetings with NELF staff and fellow student team members, and also be able stay on-task while working on self-directed projects. Each student will be expected to contribute approximately 50 hours of work over the fall semester.
