Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics is seeking Administrative Support Assistants to support the Athletic Ticket Office in the office’s day-to-day operations. Responsibilities will include: greeting visitors, answering telephones, provide information regarding athletic events/tickets and Nittany Lion Club contributions and procedures; process athletic ticket and parking sales using the Ticketmaster Archtics Ticketing System, receive and record payments, manage cash fund and reconcile daily. Based on candidate experience, a combination of primary responsibilities will be assigned. Primary responsibilities may consist of administrative support and calendar management for Assistant Athletic Director, Ticket Sales and Service assisting in scheduling and responding to meeting requests and other correspondence or serving as the primary internal and external liaison for football parking and parking inventory management using the Ticketmaster Archtics System. Finally, assist in creating, printing, distributing, and securing signatures for complimentary tickets. The successful candidate will have demonstrated success working in a fast paced environment and the ability to multitask. Candidates should be computer proficient including Ticketmaster Archtics and Advance Web (AWA), detail oriented, and enthusiastic about working within a sport-related environment. Proven ability to work independently and maintain composure under pressure. Display a genuine desire to help people and customer-focused attitude. Utilize excellent communication and listening skills and work well within a team environment. Ability to promote and maintain positive relations with team members, donors, faculty, students, and the general public. Must be able to work non-traditional hours; at games and special events which may include weekends and evenings. All Beaver Stadium events will be required beginning at least four hours prior to each event. This job will be filled as a level 2, or level 3, depending upon the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience. Typically requires a High School diploma or higher plus one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a level 2. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs.
