Description

Penn State Learning, which provides academic assistance for undergraduate students at University Park, is seeking Peer Tutors for multivariable calculus, matrices, and differential equations. Responsibilities include one-on-one tutoring, small group tutoring, and leading exam reviews for MATH 220 through MATH 251. Peer Tutors are expected to work at least 4 hours per week during spring and fall semesters. Peer Tutors must be willing to participate in appropriate training as needed. Candidates must be full-time undergraduate students at University Park expecting to graduate in Fall 2018 or later. Mathematics, mathematics education, physics, and engineering majors are preferred. Applicants who have earned an A- or better in MATH 220, MATH 230, and MATH 251 are preferred. Applicants who have taken MATH 250 (instead of MATH 251) will also be considered. Candidates must submit a resume with application. Please include documentation of final grades for MATH 220, MATH 230, and MATH 250/251.
