Description

The School of International Affairs (SIA) at Penn State invites applications for Student Ambassador positions. This is a wage payroll part-time position beginning in the Fall 2017 semester. Preference will be given to first year SIA students. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: participating in various recruitment events (both on and off campus), providing tours, club visits, group outreach, communicating directly with the public and prospective students to provide accurate information and excellent customer service, and other duties as assigned. Ambassadors are also involved in several recruitment and enrollment activities hosted by the Office of Admissions. Successful candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrate dependability, dedication, enthusiasm, and strong academic merit.
