The Director of Translational Research and Developmental Therapeutics at the Four Diamond Childhood Cancer Research Center at Penn State University College of Medicine, Hershey, PA, Sinisa Dovat, MD, PhD is currently seeking applications for a senior Postdoctoral Scholar. The successful applicant will conduct cutting edge research in the epigenetic and transcriptional regulation of gene expression in leukemia. Research in the Dovat lab uses molecular and cellular biology techniques including qRT-PCR, quantitative chromatin immunoprecipitation (qChIP), ChIP-seq, retroviral and lentiviral production, transfection, luciferase reporter assay, tissue culture, cloning, DNA and RNA isolation, Western blot, and protein purification. Postdoctoral Scholars with extensive expertise in molecular and cellular biology and preferably, research experience related to transcriptional regulation and signal transduction, are encouraged to apply. The applicant should also hold a doctoral degree (M.D. or Ph.D.) in a relevant field, be looking for a collaborative and dynamic environment, and have a track record of productivity and innovation. The salary of this annually renewable position will be established according to institutional guidelines.
