The Gender Equity Center is seeking an undergraduate student intern to assist with educational programming and outreach to support the mission of the Gender Equity Center. Responsibilities for this position will include soliciting program requests from student groups, facilitating programs, representing the Center at tabling events, and providing support during guest speaker events. The position will also provide support for the Greeks CARE sexual assault prevention program. This includes helping plan weekly facilitator meetings, recruiting facilitators and participants, and assisting with the planning and implementation of the program. The intern must be a full-time or part-time student at Penn State’s University Park Campus and be in good academic and conduct standing with the university. Additionally, they must possess strong communication and presentation skills, and have experience providing gender-based violence prevention programming. Preference will be given to students who have past experience with Gender Equity Center programming and/or who have been involved in one of the Center’s peer education groups.
