Description

World Campus and Continuing Education Finance is seeking a financial data analyst to support internal and external partners. In this role, you will calculate and analyze various key performance indicators on financial data, prepare and analyze complex financial reports to be used for strategic business decisions, identify and correct anomalies, maintain and improve financial procedures, prepare and analyze monthly financial reporting, quarterly forecasting, and annual program budget consolidation. This job will be filled as a level 2, 3 or level 4, depending upon competencies, education, and experience. Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree or higher plus three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a level 3. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs. You should have experience with streamlining business processes, how data integrates across various systems, and best practice recommendations to improve business operations. You must be able to perform complex financial analysis within Excel and preferably have experience using Access/SQL for data queries. Ability to successfully work independently is required. You should demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work with diverse data sets and audiences, organizational and strategic agility, and strong analytic and problem solving skills. This job will be filled as a level 2, level 3, or level 4, depending upon the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a level 2. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with an excellent possibility of re-funding.
