Description

The Penn State Environmental Resource Management program seeks a part-time instructor to teach ERM 447 (Stream Restoration) during the Fall 2017 semester. Qualifications include a Ph.D. in Environmental Science or Civil, Agricultural or Water Resource Engineering. Academic or professional experience in stream restoration techniques, including expertise in fluvial geomorphology, hydrology, surveying techniques, natural stream channel design and construction techniques, groundwater-surface water interactions, and fate and transport of pollutants in managed stream ecosystems is desired. Preference will be given to candidates with prior undergraduate teaching experience in a related field.
