Responsibilities include: Assist in the interface of internal and government audit reviews, log and compile audit documentation and coordinate audit response, maintain schedule of audit requests, the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) response, and follow-up of outstanding issues, facilitate on-site internal and government audits, and provide status updates; assist in the preparation and submission of ARL incurred cost submissions and rate proposals in accordance with the Uniform Guidance and Cost Accounting Standards; track compliance with ARL training modules, report compliance/non-compliance, and collaborate with ARL Information Technology to improve internal training compliance reports; assist with the creation and maintenance of policies and procedures, act as a non-bias party and adjudicator to help ensure compliance with ARL and University policies and procedures and Uniform Guidance regulations; and prepare monthly audit and compliance reports. This job will be filled as a level 2, or level 3, depending upon the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a level 2. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs. Audit and compliance experience is preferred. Exposure to Case Ware is desired. A background in a federal contract environment is required. You should be comfortable working individually, as well as in a team environment, and possess excellent interpersonal skills, to include oral and written communication skills. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation. You must be a U.S. citizen to apply. Employment with the Applied Research Laboratory will require successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.
