The Management Entity for Pennsylvania (PA) Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Education (SNAP-Ed), a federally funded program providing nutrition education to low-income audiences across the Commonwealth, seeks a Nutritionist. This position is responsible for providing training and technical assistance for assigned local partners (SNAP-Ed providers), serving as proposal manager during annual Request for Partners proposal process and amendment submission periods, and conducting program monitoring and site reviews to ensure compliance with policies and regulations. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Degree in nutrition from an accredited University preferred. Registered Dietitian preferred. In-state travel will be required. Since this position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as part of your job duties, a valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of re-funding.
