Description

The Digital Content Student (DCS) will have the opportunity to learn, support, and assist in a variety of marketing practices. Duties include: photography, writing, and posting in social media. Other tasks may include: videography, editing website, working with local media (print, online, radio, TV), supporting special events, and use of social media metrics and Google Analytics. University Relations at Penn State Abington is responsible for marketing and strategic communications that enhance the reputation of the college and university throughout the region. Strategies promote positive engagement with key external and internal audiences, uphold the university’s brand identity, advance Penn State’s high-quality academics, research, global reach and student experience, and acknowledge our diversity. As an important strategic unit at a Penn State college in the Philadelphia market, UR supports the campus’ goals by attracting high quality students from across the region and the world. Preferred Skills: Experience with photography and photo editing skills; proficient writing and verbal communication abilities; video and video editing skills. Pay: $9.50 an hour.
