Description

The College of Health and Human Development (Outreach Office) periodically has part-time openings for instructors to teach online semester-based courses in the following academic areas: Biobehavioral Health (BBH); Health Policy and Administration (HPA); Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS); Kinesiology (KINES); Nutritional Sciences (NUTR) and Recreation, Park and Tourism Management (RPTM). These are one semester, non-tenure track, part-time teaching positions with the possibility of reappointment. Part-time instructors typically teach one to two courses per semester. Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in a related field. Doctorate degree is preferred. Prior teaching experience is highly desirable, but less seasoned applicants will be considered, especially new Ph.D.s with matching backgrounds. Online teaching experience is a plus. Orientation and training will be available. The individual must be able to work effectively with diverse populations and audiences. Candidates will need to upload a letter of application indicating area of interest, resume/CV, and the names and contact information of three references.
