Penn State Wilkes-Barre is seeking an Instructor to teach in the Surveying Engineering program as well as Physics/Math courses as determined by the Chief Academic Officer based on the needs at the Wilkes-Barre campus. Approximately half of the anticipated teaching load will be in the Surveying program, while the rest will be teaching Physics or Mathematics as needed by the campus. Candidates should have a Master’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering or related discipline as well as a Professional Surveying License in the United States preferably in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The selected candidate will be expected to demonstrate a strong commitment teaching, engage in professional development as well as service activities to the campus and the university. Starting date for this position is August 2017 or January 2018 as negotiated. This is a fixed-term appointment for one year (36 weeks appointment) with excellent possibilities of re-funding.
