Description

The Pathways to Success: Summer Start (PaSSS) program is currently seeking applicants to be mentors for the new PaSSS students. Applicants must have previously participated in the PaSSS program and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and will be expected to set a good example for their mentees through their efficient study habits, excellent academic performance, and responsible personal behavior. Peer Mentors will be expected to help new students learn how to succeed at Penn State by working with them to locate and to utilize campus resources; mentors will learn how to work effectively in team, develop academic skills by meeting on a regular basis with mentees, participate in summer events for mentees, and continue to contact mentees during the upcoming academic year. All applications must be submitted electronically.
