Description

The Systems Engineering and Integration Department of the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) is seeking 3 graduate students to assist with the execution of additive manufacturing projects in support of a range of Department of Defense, industrial, and academic programs. The successful candidates will perform activities such as analysis of cracking in HIPped 15-5 AM material, algorithm development for CT scan analysis, and assessment of flaw morphology for correlation to process parameters. Students must have a BS in Engineering or Materials Science and will work up to 40 hours per week during the Summer semester and up to 20 hours per week during the Fall and Spring semesters. You must be a U.S. Citizen to apply. Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation. Employment with the Applied Research Laboratory will require successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
