The Communications, Information, and Navigation Office of the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) is seeking up to three undergraduate summer research students. Selected students will update and support an intelligence analysis scenario focused on the South China Sea. Successful candidates will be pursuing a career in the National Security Enterprise and demonstrated success in academic and extracurricular pursuits. Specifically, students with a) experience in analysis b) expertise in the South China Sea and/or c) expertise in collaborative work software platforms are desired. Students maybe freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior in Security and Risk Analysis, International Politics, Engineering, or related major and will work up to 40 hours per week during the Summer. Travel and work in the National Capital Region is required for a week in June and a week in August. You must be a U.S. Citizen to apply. Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation. Exceptional candidates with part-time and/or remote work availability may be considered. Employment with the Applied Research Laboratory will require successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
