The Pennsylvania State University, College of Health and Human Development, seeks an outstanding scholar for an associate or full professor faculty position in the Department of Communication Sciences & Disorders. In addition to excellence in teaching and service, the successful candidate will have an active and productive program of research in their area of specialization. Area of specialization is open. Preference will be given to candidates whose research and teaching interests advance the mission of our department and complement or expand current faculty interests. Candidates will have a doctoral degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field and a record of academic achievement commensurate with a faculty appointment at the associate of full professor level, including a demonstrated ability to secure external funding. Building effective and productive collaborations with colleagues and centers across the University is expected, as is active mentoring of junior/tenure-track faculty. The teaching component will involve undergraduate and graduate teaching in the candidate’s area of specialization.
