Description

The laboratory of Professor John Badding in the Chemistry Department at The Pennsylvania State University seeks to fill a postdoctoral researcher position to perform calculations to investigate the reaction mechanism of nanothread formation from small aromatic molecules under pressure. The position requires a Ph.D. in the area of organic or computational chemistry as well as experience in solid-state chemistry and high-pressure chemistry.
