The USDA Healthy Bodies Project is a large scale intervention research project focused on promoting healthy eating and physical activity in preschool children, with a goal of preventing childhood obesity. We seek to hire several Penn State students and non-students to fill wage payroll part-time positions beginning in September 2017. The main responsibility of these employees will be to conduct one-on-one interviews with children in preschool classrooms. Duties may also include data entry, data cleaning, and/or helping to recruit teachers and families. We seek candidates with excellent communication skills who are self-motivated, detail oriented, responsible and able to multi-task. Travel to surrounding counties in Pennsylvania is required. Hours may vary, but candidates must be available until 1:00 p.m. at least 2 weekdays. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver`s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required, as well as PA Clearances for work in childcare/educational settings (these must be completed before employment starts).
