The Professional Personnel Development Center for Career and Technical Education (CTE) seeks qualified individuals to teach evening courses that prepare individuals to qualify for the Pennsylvania “Vocational Instructional II” certificate. Each selected individual will teach a weekly, evening course in Hughesville, Lebanon, Mechanicsburg, Mount Joy, or University Park. The requirements of this position include: an advanced degree(s) in Workforce Education, Career and Technical Education, Vocational Education or closely related fields; must possess a Pennsylvania Vocational Instructional II Certificate or equivalent; experience teaching or have been a school counselor or an administrator in a vocational/technical school; possess knowledge and skills suited to teach one of the following subjects: Career and Technical Programs and Facilities Management, Career and Technical Student Organizations, or Special Needs Learners within Career and Technical Education.
