Description

Position responsible for assisting the Discovery Camp Director with all aspects of the Discovery Camp including train teaching staff and LITs; create, edit and update curriculum; oversee health care protocols with Director and ensure safety of and provide medical care to students. This position will also be onsite at Discovery Camp to interact with parents, supervise and evaluate staff and ensure the program operates smoothly. This position will also need to stay overnight at camp on Fridays. Good communication, interpersonal skills and experience with working in a camp setting are preferred. Must be able to lift and move equipment up to 50lbs participate in hiking and running activities on uneven ground in various weather conditions. First Aid/CPR (or above) certification or willingness to obtain before start of position and be at least 21 years of age are required. Applicants must submit a resume and three professional references. This is a seasonal position with no guarantee of renewal.
