Description

Penn State Great Valley is seeking an individual to provide support to faculty, staff, students, and corporate clients in assigned areas of our buildings. Applicant will assist users with various computer hardware and software issues, audio/visual requirements for classrooms and auditorium; troubleshoots and diagnoses user problems. Assist in special IT Department projects, as required. Minimum qualifications: Knowledge and training in technical or administrative programs. Work related experience is not required (hands-on training will be provided). Physical requirements: Must be able to lift and move equipment weighing up to 40 lbs. with or without accommodation. Must demonstrate good people skills, the ability to learn quickly, the ability to assess problems and provide relief to situations that require instant resolution. Must be open to learning a variety of technical skills related to audio/visual, networking, web, and project management capabilities. Hours are Monday through Thursday evening; 4:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. Penn State Great Valley Students will be given first consideration for this job vacancy.
